Mixing and Usage Considerations

  • Use "Recirculating" for all DWC & RDWC, Aeroponic, NFT and Ebb n’ Flow applications.
  • Use "Drain to Waste" for all Rockwool, cococoir, peat mixes and soilless mix applications
  • Do not combine any products in undiluted form.
  • Nutrients should be added in the sequence shown on the feeding schedule, adjust pH last. For best results in RDWC allow pH levels to swing between 5.5 – 6.5 without making adjustments.
  • Recommended starting EC for source water should be 0-100ppm.
  • Recommended nutrient dosages are in mL/gal and should be used as a base line.
  • If using UC Roots instead of Clear Line as your Hypochlorous Acid, refer to “Classic” Feed Charts available on the Nutrient Calculator page.
  • Maintaining PPM/EC levels within +/-10% of our general recommendations suits most applications. For greenhouse applications, it may be necessary to increase recommendations beyond +10% depending on conditions.
  • Adjust as needed to suit your crop’s specific needs. Factors such as growing medium, temperature, humidity, plant varieties, root volume, moisture percentage in the substrate, irrigation methods, etc. should be considered.
  • Maintaining proper environmental conditions to ensure efficient mineral uptake throughout cultivation. Refer to CCH2O General Environmental Targets for more information.
  • If cultivating a variety beyond 8 weeks, repeat week 5 as needed to increase duration. For example: If variety requires 10 weeks, carry out week sequence as follows 1,2,3,4,5,5,5,6,7,8 to achieve 10 weeks.
  • Maintain well-calibrated proportioning equipment to ensure correct dosing.
  • Store liquids in their closed, original packaging at a temperature between 45°F and 85°F.
